Nationwide Pallet Delivery with Palletforce

At FirewoodShed.co.uk, all orders are delivered using Palletforce, one of the UK’s leading pallet networks. Whether it’s a half-pallet or a full-pallet, your goods will arrive securely, on time, and with full tracking.

We offer reliable kerbside delivery across the UK, with clear pricing and delivery options.

Delivery Options & Services

  • Standard delivery: 2 working days after dispatch (Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • Dispatch cut-off: Orders placed before 2:30 PM (Mon–Fri) are dispatched same day
  • Delivery method: Tail-lift kerbside delivery via 18-tonne lorry
  • Real-time tracking: Receive SMS/email ETA, electronic proof of delivery, and photo confirmation (“Picture on POD”)

Delivery of Firewood, Briquettes & Pellets

We offer free delivery to the majority of UK postcodes on all our products, including Ready to Burn firewood, FSC®-certified wood briquettes, and ENplus® A1 wood pellets. Some remote areas incur a small delivery surcharge due to ferry transport, limited access for heavy goods vehicles, or lower delivery volumes. You’ll see your final delivery price at checkout based on your postcode.

Kerbside Delivery Terms

All deliveries are kerbside only and made using a pallet truck from a tail-lift. To ensure successful delivery:

  • Delivery must be to a flat, hard, and level surface (e.g., tarmac or concrete)
  • We cannot deliver on gravel, grass, stones, slopes, or broken ground
  • Vehicle access must be possible — no narrow lanes, weight restrictions, or blocked roads
  • Drivers do not unpack goods, do not carry items indoors, and do not take away pallets
  • The driver performs a safety risk assessment before unloading and may refuse delivery if conditions are unsafe

Tracking & Delivery Proof

Every order comes with full tracking and delivery confirmation, powered by our logistics partner Palletforce:

  • Live tracking and SMS/email ETA notifications
  • Electronic Proof of Delivery (ePOD) – downloadable as PDF
  • Picture on POD – a photo of the delivery location
  • Pallet Selfie – image of your pallet inside Palletforce’s SuperHub

This ensures full visibility and peace of mind from dispatch to delivery.

Returns Policy

If you’re not satisfied, we’re here to help.

Damaged Goods

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours. Please include clear photos and your order number.

Change of Mind

You may return products within 14 days of delivery if:

  • Items are unused and in original packaging
  • You arrange and pay for the return transport

If you’d like us to handle the return shipping, a return fee of £85 per pallet will be deducted from your refund.

Additionally, the original delivery cost will also be deducted from your refund — even if you received “free delivery” at checkout. The base delivery cost is £50 per pallet, but this may be higher depending on your postcode area.

Please note: These charges apply only to returns of goods that are not damaged or faulty. For damaged deliveries, see the Damaged Goods section above.

Refunds are processed within 7 days after we receive and inspect the returned goods.
