Slow-Burning Kiln Dried Hornbeam Logs

Our kiln dried hornbeam logs are made from dense hardwood, dried below 20% moisture for reliable and long-lasting heat. Hornbeam is one of the hardest firewood species available; therefore, it offers excellent burn time and high heat output with minimal smoke or residue.

Product Specifications

  • Wood type: 100% hornbeam (very dense hardwood)
  • Moisture content: ≤ 20%
  • Log length: approx. 25 cm
  • Crate size: Large Crate (tightly stacked)
  • Certification: Ready to Burn

Why Choose Hornbeam Logs?

Hornbeam is ideal for anyone looking for maximum heat and the slowest possible burn. Moreover, it is even denser than oak and produces very steady, intense warmth. As a result, these logs are perfect for overnight heating or for those who want fewer reloads during cold weather.

All logs are Ready to Burn certified, moisture-tested, and tightly stacked in a crate for convenient delivery and storage. For example, if you prefer slightly faster-burning options, explore our birch or mixed hardwood logs.

Sustainability and Standards

We source hornbeam from responsibly managed forests, and every log meets strict environmental and quality standards. Therefore, you can heat your home knowing that you are making a sustainable choice. Certified under the Ready to Burn scheme. In addition, you can visit our Certifications & Sustainability page to learn more.
